dearlilyjune – Despite the simplicity of this sentence, know how difficult it is for me to admit my identity: I am a mama with a mental illness (OCPD, obsessive compulsive personality disorder). I'm also a mama with a chronic pain condition (IC, interstitial cystitis). I started this blog when my daughter was two months old as a way to explain to her, someday, why her mama acts in the crazy ways that she does. While names have been changed to protect the innocent (i.e. my daughter "Lily"), all scenarios described are true and all opinions are my own.
