On coming home

I flew home* on Saturday.

I landed, and was presented with two of my favourite things:

Chocolate

(which they handed out on the plane as we got off)

and

Snow

(which you can barely see in my blurry photo).

Isn’t that awesome?

It was even more awesome the next day.

Tthere was enough to make footprints in πŸ™‚

And to admire

And to brush off the van

And it was at least 25 degreesΒ  (centigrade) colder than the day before…

* in this case “home” means Berlin, Germany. Often it means my parents’ house in Southern England.

  1. Lovely snow pics Jesska! Do you mean home in Germany or your parental home, if that is elsewhere? I love the tree pic! What a great and time consuming jigsaw that would make!
    Happy snow fights!

    1. Thank you πŸ™‚
In this case I mean home in Germany, but you’re right, I call almost everywhere I stay ‘home’. My parents live in Southern England πŸ™‚
Yes! That would be a fantastic jigsaw, and probably incredibly frustrating!

    1. πŸ™‚ Yup – I’m thinking about getting it printed and framing it πŸ™‚ It’s pretty close to the house, but it doesn’t look nearly as spectacular without the snow…
