Sometimes I dig them myself.
Sometimes other people dig them.
And sometimes I’m pushed.

And sometimes I’m pushed.
And sometimes when I dig them myself I just want to curl up at the bottom and stay there.
Instead I find myself climbing the ladder out -they are usually quite large holes- and spluttering out words that sound like…I didn’t mean to fall in there…I thought it was just a little puddle….who dug that trap anyway?
Ah, well, has anyone got a fair sized spade so I can help someone else out when they dig themselves in?
Yup, always a contest – gathering strength to climb the ladder/do the digging v. staying curled up at the bottom. Especially if the holes have duvets in. When will they invent portable escalators?!
But good for you for helping to dig other people out! 🙂
